Downsizing to Sotogrande

Luxury Partners Real Estate would be delighted to help you if you are thinking of downsizing to Sotogrande .

After the Pandemic many people chose to move out of cities and sought property in more rural areas of their home country, perhaps with larger gardens and outside space.

However what they didn’t bargain for after they decided to ” Upsize ” was the sense of isolation in rural areas and now with higher costs in electricity and gas, the costs of heating and lighting their much larger properties has rocketed.

Of course the opportunity to working remotely was also instrumental in the decision to relocate out of the towns and cities , but why work in a location which is dark and cold in the winter where even the country pub is mega expensive?

If you are able to work from home, why not move countries altogether and enjoy the warm weather and increased daylight hours of the winter months in Sotogrande

Thinking of retiring or taking early retirement

If  you have reached the life stage when when are thinking of retiring or taking early retirement why not change your lifestyle completely and indulge yourself by moving from an older larger property to something that is smaller and not only less expensive to run in terms of heating and lighting bills and easier to ” lock up and go”.

Especially if you decide to spend more of your retirement years travelling the world or even more locally throughout Andalucia with the cities of Malaga, Sevilla, Jerez, Cadiz and Cordoba in easy reach and full of history and splendor.

Become a S.K.I.E.R i.e. someone who has decided to spend the kids inheritance or a least some of the kids inheritance.

After all you have worked for years to maintain a large house, feed and cloth the kids and pay for their schooling and university..

Of course if you are a skier or snowboarder and want to also be near the mountains Marbella is approx two and a half hours away from the Sierra Nevada mountain range and the popular Sierra Nevada Ski resort.
